The Glow
Sunday July 20, 2008 |
Last night was lit up by Glow, an artistic event in Santa Monica for twelve celebratory hours, from 7PM to 7AM. The beach was animated by artistic performances and realisations around the theme of light.
From the description, Glow takes its spirit from the Grunion run in local waters, a fish that come to shore in high numbers to reproduce. The public was able to interact and experience with contemporary art and light concepts. Read more about this cool event here.

New Toy
Thursday July 17, 2008 |
Hi there, this is the new face of my blog, I moved from Blogger to RapidWeaver, some handy features were missing. You can check the older posts and pictures at this adress.
Anyway, I am so exited to have finally bought an amazing camera, Canon EOS 40D with EF 28-135 IS USM lens that does a wow job where my older model was totally failing, in terms of quality, and features. Well, I think that those two different models are not comparable at all. After my car accident, my tiny Kodak V803 was projected out of the window to land in the sand, that did a great job at jamming the whole lens system.
Still beginning with the new baby, I’m loving it so far. Here are a few shots from today.
